So what’s the best thing about being an entertainment agent?
Is it the private helicopter waiting to whisk us off to exotic locations? The six figure salary? The long lunch breaks in the worlds snazziest restaurants? The bottles of krug drunk with starlets on our frequent nights out in exclusive London nightspots?
Nope it is none of the above which, unfortunately, do not exist in our humble profession (at least not at the level that Live Music Management operate at!)
The best thing about being an entertainment agent is the feedback that we receive from our customers.
We work in the business of making peoples dreams come true.
We work in the business of booking the fantastic wedding band that will have everyone talking for months after the wedding reception. Of placing the ultimate party DJ into an event or night club booking . Of realising that a particular function band will suit a particular event. The feedback that arrives with us after these events, weddings and parties is the lifeblood of Live Music Management. It is the fuel that powers our continued success.
Our business has grown through recommendation and continued business. Many of our larger clients have been with us over a decade. Famous names like Walkabout Bars , Butlins , Haven , Bar Risa etc are corporate clients that continue to use our services to this day. We have a number of families who have booked our bands for several family weddings. Recently we received a call from a lady who’s sister booked one of our bands almost seven years ago for her wedding. She was calling to either book the same band or to be recommended a similar act from Live Music Management. In her own words, “Live Music Management were spot ion when they suggested Sugar Shack for my sisters wedding so if you can suggest an act like that then we will be happy.”
On Monday mornings one of the first jobs in the LMM office is to read the feedback emails that our regular club clients send us over the weekend. We also send out an invitation to the previous weeks clients for them to review the act they have used from LMM. These reviews are posted onto the bands page on our site. They are not doctored in any way so what you read is exactly what is written by the clients. Almost universally the feedback is excellent. That’s the best thing about being an entertainment agent for Live Music Management.
